Clean and Simple Mosaic Madness

I could make cards like this all. day. long.  They are so easy with coordinated products like the *new* Modern Mosaic Embossing Folder, *new* Mosiac Madness stamp set and *new* Mosaic punch from Stampin' Up's soon-to-be-released 2013-2014 Catalog! Think of the single colors or color combos you could come up with. Change your sentiment and you have a new design. Quick and easy! I used the *new* Baked Brown Sugar Ink for the color on my white on white card.

I'm just LOVING playing with the new products that I get to preview as a Demonstrator. If you would love to be previewing products ahead of their release and your wish list has more than a few items on it, you really should consider ordering your very own Starter Kit:

Mr. & Mrs. Quatrefancy

Happy Weekend! This is a clean and simple wedding card for a sweet couple. I applaud the return of Bermuda Bay! I have missed this turquoise color. I believe that this pattern from Quatrefancy Specialty designer series paper and Pool Party card stock make a great "couple" for creating a card. I colored my Basic Rhinestones using a Sharpie. The sentiment is from Label Love--a sneak preview from the 2013-2014 catalog. You also see the retiring Pool Party Ruffled Ribbon :-(  Have no fear, there are some tasty ribbons in the upcoming catty!

I would LOVE to read your comments on my card! You are always so kind~

Flags and Artisan Labels- Just For You

Happy Friday! I'm sorry I've been so inconsistent lately! I've been working hard at getting ready for my daughter's baby shower this weekend and time is precious. So here is a card I whipped up trying to use some sneak preview items and some current products. You can see the Stampin' Up! 2013-2014 Catalog Live on May 31st!

I created these flags by taking a strip of Whisper White paper, cutting it to the desired length and width, and covering it with the *new* Gingham Garden Designer Washi Tape. These are all three colors in the collection and they are SO cute and easy to use. I've already covered clothespins in Washi Tape (you'll see my baby shower items later this week) and used the tape to close a wax bag or to help keep an envelope closed. They add a little pattern to anything!

Here's a tip for making your flags from Mary Fish, leader of our Stampin' Pretty Pals:  Click Here for Video

Other new products used are Strawberry Slush card stock, and Label Love stamp set.

I hope you enjoyed seeing my card today. Won't you please leave a comment below?

Tags from Chalk Talk

Finally, I am able to upload some photos I took of a preview from the 2013-2014 Stampin' Up! Catalog, which goes live at the end of the month. This tag uses two images from the set Chalk Talk, which I layered one over the other. There is a set of framelits which will easily and expertly cut the outer tag, but here I just used my Paper Snips. The ink colors used are Melon Mambo and Gumball Green.

Another image from Chalk Talk is this wonderful tag. There will also be a framelit to match, so no fussy cutting in my future! Plus you can use the tag framelit on plain card stock and have a tag to match any package. Here I stamped with White Craft Ink onto Basic Black card stock. I embossed the image using White Embossing Powder.

I hope you enjoyed my late sneak peek! I will have more sneak peeks at the end of the week! See you then. Thank you for stopping by, and don't forget to leave your comments below!

I didn't know HOW to interpret this color challenge, so I kept it basic. I learned a new technique with this tutorial and decided that I'd use it on the challenge. It is SO simple you will have your card in no time

I really enjoy snipping, so snipping out these chevron shapes was actually fun. When you are finished, they line up perfectly and the scoring gives your stripes a nice texture!
