Make A Wish

Happy New Year! I know I'm late in saying that, but life is busy! We are in the last week of Sale-A-Bration, where you get to choose a free item for EACH $60 spent on products! Today's card features what I think is the star of the catalog and is on the front cover.

Here I simply used one sentiment, some of the dies and paper, which includes two sheets of cut out images like the cupcake and flowers at the top of my bundle and the gold flair under the cupcake.

Let's Celebrate!

This is a belated birthday card that I made for a friend. Unfortunately at this time of year, it's easy to forget things that don't relate to the holidays. So, I made a card that was more special than usual. I used the Light the Sky stamp set and dies for the background of this card and the fun fireworks cut out. The sentiment is from the Simply Said stamp set and those cute white embossed stars are from the Decorative Trees stamp set. For the blues in the sky portion of the card, I used Night of Navy and Misty Moonlight with blending brushes.

I'll definitely be using this for inspiration for New Year thank you cards after Christmas. I'll be getting them done now while I'm finished with my Christmas prep! 

I will be showing some Valentine ideas in the coming weeks, so for now, I wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy 2025!

Online Exclusive Golden Greenery

Hello Friends! I've been making a lot of cards, but haven't had time to add to my blog. I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving this week!

Today's card was created using the Golden Greenery Stamp set and dies, along with the Unbounded Love dies that i used to cut out the sentiment. My background paper was created using one of the greenery stamps and same color ink as the card stock: Basic Beige.

You Are Appreciated Treat Box

Book Treat Box covered in Designer Series Paper

Today's project is a Book Treat Box that I covered using two different prints from the Country Lace Designer Series Paper. It was easy to cut the pieces to the size of each panel and then trim the rounded corners with my Paper Snips after the glue was dry. I found this easier than adhering a larger piece over the folds in the box. Each front section was cut to 3" x4". The spine was covered with a different print, 1" x 4". The horizontal piece that closes the "book" was measured at 1" x 2-3/4" and then trimmed.

I decorated the front of the treat box with a vellum die cut from the Golden Greenery Dies (Online Exclusive) and some Silver Drusy Adhesive-Backed embellishments. The sentiment is from the Wonderful Thoughts stamp set using Poppy Parade Ink. The Poppy Parade ribbon is (retired) from my stash.
